The Picking Garden Folio

 A behind the scenes look at the making of The Picking Garden Folio.

To make this folio I first made a template for the base. 

To cut the base I used 2 12 x12 scrapbook paper pad covers as these are cardboard. 

Once the base was cut I needed a large sheet of paper to stick it to so I used a sheet of newspaper from a 1955 newspaper! (Gotta love vintage paper).

Once the base was done it was time to cut out the patterned paper panels using a template I had made. 

Now the real fun begins! Creating the pockets and ephemera to go inside! 

This sweet folio was a super fun project to make.

 It's been a lovely week crafting and creating journal cards & tags using some beautiful papers and vintage images. 

Vintage Cat Junk Journal

 Hello crafters!

It was such a joy putting this vintage cat journal together. 

Rather than stitching the pages in like I normally do I thought I'd try something different and use book rings. I'm very happy with the overall result. 

Hope this gives you all some inspiration to get creating.
