Shabby Loaded Tags

Hello there Crafter's,

It's been a rather grotty day here in Te Kauwhata, New Zealand which makes for a perfect crafting day!

Today I made two sets of loaded tags. Both sets are 'shabby' themed as I just LOVE shabby chic.

The first set is the 'Shabby Romantic' set. This set features a pink & white striped background.
These tags are available in my etsy store. Click HERE to find them.

Once I print the tags out, i them stick pretty paper on the back from my ever growing stack of patterned papers.

Once this step is completed, I then create the pockets. This can involve gluing and sewing. So much fun!

Once that's done, its on to the ephemera used to fill the pockets.

Last step is creating the folio. The folios I used today are my digital designs.
I printed them out and glued pretty fabric to the back then sewed around them just to reinforce the fabric.
To finish off the set, I've used pink lace and tied a bow.

Set two is the 'Shabby Angels' tags (also available in my etsy store HERE.

Pocket tags are always fun to make

Happy crafting

Baby Boy Mini Album

Feast your eyes on the cutest baby album ever!

Front cover

This little gem took me a couple of days to make. It all started with the Cricut machine and an SVG file to cut the album out. For this I used powder blue cardstock.

Next up after cutting the album out, I fished through my ever growing collection of patterned papers and found all my baby related one's ( I swear I spend half my time looking for stuff when crafting as there is just SO much stuff!)

There is 3 page sets with this mini album that fold up concertina style so I like to glue patterned papers to these page sets which are cut from powder blue cardstock.

Once the page sets have been completed with the patterned paper its time to unleash the lace and make some pockets (along with paper tuck pockets etc)

These little albums are fun to make (although the can be a bit fiddly at times), the end result is always very pleasing.
